Something that I've been asked how to do quite a few times is: 'How to Remove the Flash Reflection off Oily Skin in Photoshop?' Well, it's actually really easy to do and alot of fun to smooth out the skin. Firstly, ask yourself what tools are there available to do this? * Clone Stamp Tool, * Patch Tool * Spot Healing Brush Tool etc. Step 1: Use the good old 'Clone Stamp Tool'. Step 2: Change the Mode to 'DARKEN' in the Options Bar. Step 3: Reduce the Opacity to <20% for nice subtle results (10% is a good start) Step 4: Then press 'ALT' (PC) or 'OPTION' (Mac) to sample some smooth skin near the shiny skin area, then simply click over the shiny skin, and with repeated short clicks go over the shiny skin! Before you know it you'll have nice smooth even looking skin that has kept the original texture underneath.
