What file size should I provide?
300dpi at the finished size is preferred but 250dpi for Canvas prints will give you an excellent result too and slightly reduce your file size. If you need us to enlarge your image we can do that too, just make sure when you check out that you select the Photo Enhance Service (PES) and in the comments section let us know what you need done. Just make note of it in the ‘Special Instructions’ field when you’re ordering.
What file format should my files be in?
Provide your images as JPG, you can also provide a flattened TIFF of your image in RGB format. sRGB or Adobe RGB for the colour space – see below for more information on colour spaces.
What colour space should I use for the best quality print?
Ideally Adobe RGB, you can use sRGB but this is a smaller colour space (smaller Gamut), it’s great for the web and you can still get a good result printing with it but for the best results you would use an Adobe RGB workflow. Make sure you convert your images if shooting in Camera RAW from RAW to Adobe RGB. Some people make the mistake of converting from RAW (unassigned colour space) to sRGB and then to Adobe RGB and think they’re getting the benefits of Adobe RGB but you’re not if you’re workflow is like that. See visual graph below to further understand the Different Colour Spaces and how large each of the colour spaces is.
