Can I ask what camera you are using? I love your work--I wish my pictures were as clear and sharp as yours! Your lighting is perfect in every photo. Care to share your secret? I would love to get as good as you are someday!

I use the Kodak 760, 14n. and Pro14n cameras. I've been involved with photoghraphy since 1965 when I got a BFA in photography, and I guess that makes it a bit over 40 years in the business. I started working with digital imaging in 1985 and have been 100% digital for quite some time. As far as my images being sharp, I use the auto focus on the cameras most of the time except when I'm working with my micro lenses and then I always use manual focus. As far as the lighting, I guess I have tried to take lots of classes and have read lots of books. I love the internet because of the wealth of information that is available online, and because it really serves up a big plate of "Humble Pie". By that, I mean that if we get to thinking that our work is very good, then we just have to log-on to the web to see some really awesome photography being produced by a whole bunch of other photographers. I think there are some very very good photographs being posted on the web, and they all provide a way of learning different styles and techniques. My stuff is just my stuff, and I've learned a long time ago that there are always ways to improve my images.

Thanks for your kind comments on my images. You might want to look at more on my web site. www.6thdimension.com

I wish you lived in Florida so I could study under you for awhile. Thanks for the info. I loved the pictures on your website as well. Your humility is refreshing for someone so good at his profession. I especially enjoy the pictures where there is a projection of some item coming at you or when you clone the leaves, flowers, butterflies, etc. over the matting. Keep up the great work--you're a great encouragement for me!
